Outcomes · What you'll leave with

By the end of the workshop, you'll have these in your hand.

2+ AI accounts configured

Free vs paid tiers explained in CAD. Apps installed on your laptop and phone. Ready to use Monday morning.

The Prompt Formula

Role · Context · Task · Format · Constraints. The single skill that 10× your output overnight. Written on a card you keep.

A custom AI assistant

Claude Project or ChatGPT Custom GPT — built in the room, personalized to your role, your style, your most common tasks. You stop explaining yourself to AI.

10 use cases for work AND life

From client follow-ups to landlord emails. From contracts to insurance policies. From research to creative projects. You leave with a cheat sheet you actually use.

A platform decision framework

ChatGPT vs Claude vs Perplexity vs Gemini vs Grok — when to use each, and why. Watch the same prompt across all four side-by-side. The differences are surprising.

The "Agent Era" preview

A taste of what's in Module 2 — AI that reads your files, controls your computer, runs scheduled tasks. So you know what's next when you're ready.

Wrap-up + what's next

Your action plan for the week. A teaser of Module 2 (AI Power User — where AI starts doing actual work). Feedback form + the cheat sheet by email tonight.

A taste of what's inside

The Prompt Formula — the skill that 10× your output.

The formula

Role: You are a [specific role]
Context: [Background about you / the situation]
Task: [What you want done — be specific]
Format: [How you want it — table, email, bullets, etc.]
Constraints: [What to avoid, length limits, tone]

Same task — bad prompt vs good prompt

Bad

"Write me an email"

Good

"You are a professional communications writer. I need to email my building's property manager about a persistent leak in my kitchen ceiling that was reported 3 weeks ago. Tone: polite but firm. Under 200 words. Include a request for a specific repair date."
Who shows up

The room is intentionally mixed.

Professionals & operators

Lawyers, accountants, brokers, consultants, small business owners who know AI is here and want to use it without becoming a "tech person."

Parents & families

Want to help kids with schoolwork safely, manage household admin, and not be the only adult in the room who doesn't get this stuff.

Career-changers & students

Treating AI fluency as a professional skill — like spreadsheet fluency was in 1995. Want to be ahead, not behind.

Retirees & curious learners

People who've heard the noise and want a calm, honest, no-hype walkthrough — from someone who isn't trying to sell them a subscription.

Real attendee testimonials appear after the first sessions.

Module 1 questions.

What if I've never used ChatGPT or Claude before?

You're who this is built for. We start from zero — accounts, settings, your first prompt. The only thing I assume is that you can type and follow along.

What if I already use AI every day?

Stay for Block 5 (the Prompt Formula + Custom Projects). Most daily users haven't mastered prompt structure or built a personalized assistant. The hands-on builds the asset; the formula 10× your output even on tools you already use.

Will you make me sign up for paid plans?

No. I show you what I pay for (Claude Pro + Perplexity Pro = ~$55 CAD/mo) and why, but the entire workshop runs on free tiers. You decide later.

Will I get a recording?

Virtual sessions are recorded and uploaded within 48 hours. You'll get the link by email along with the cheat sheet and 10 starter prompts.

What do I need to bring?

Laptop charged. Phone if you want to install the mobile apps. Curiosity. That's it.

Are the in-person sessions in Toronto?

Yes — GTA. Venue announced when the first in-person session is dated. Virtual sessions are Zoom and work from anywhere with internet.

Can my partner attend with me?

One seat = one attendee. If you both want in, register two seats. (If you'd rather do it privately for your whole team, see the Private Team Workshop.)

What if it's not a fit?

First-week refund, no questions. The bar isn't "you didn't like it" — the bar is "this didn't deliver what I said it would." Honest signal beats a forced refund argument.

Ready when you are.

Beta seats are C$97. Standard is C$197. Both come with the recording, the cheat sheet, the 10 starter prompts, and a 30-day email follow-up to keep the momentum going.
